Exciting the Art Spirit: Play with Paints

One of my most treasured play workshops is with tempera paints. Love and creative expression abound spontaneously! Here is one I presented with the staff of the Temple Beth Shalom early childhood program in Needham, Massachusetts. This video shows the wonder and wisdom of silent solo self active play with tempera paints. Participants explore with freedom, self-expression as meaning making followed by reflection. Images portray an array of individual initiative, exploratory styles, and appreciation of the beauty and diversity arising spontaneously during artful play moments.
